Why We Built This
Toowit started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to understand my own health data?
After receiving blood test results filled with acronyms, reference ranges, and cryptic units, our founder spent hours researching each biomarker. What did "hs-CRP" mean? Was an LDL of 110 good or bad? Why did one lab say the reference range was 0-100, while another said 0-130?
Even worse—tracking changes over time meant digging through PDFs from different labs, manually entering data into spreadsheets, and trying to visualize trends in Excel. It was tedious, error-prone, and took hours.
We realized: if someone with technical skills struggles this much, what about everyone else?
So we built Toowit. An AI-powered platform that extracts biomarker data from any lab report, visualizes trends beautifully, and explains what it all means—without storing your original documents or compromising your privacy.
